Here is a picture of the two of us in the bathroom mirror. Our bond from breastfeeding is something truly special and I hope to go past a year with her.
Here is a photo of my daughter and I after she passed out from nursing to sleep. She is absolutely perfect in every way!
Here is my daughter super milk drunk!
Here is my beautiful baby girl nursing just 2 weeks after the hospital. I was so unbelievably proud of myself for getting that far after not getting much sleep and the sore and chapped nips!
Here we are now! 11 months in and hoping to pump for my best friends baby who is due next month! She has some personal issues and with how far along I am in this journey I would love to help her baby get the amazing benefits of breastmilk.
Breastfeeding has been such a humbling and yet rewarding experience for me. I love that I have been able to feed this little human from my body, how amazing that is, and I love that she and I have formed such a strong bond because of this. Sierra is so unbelievably smart, she has taught me patience, and has shown he how much I could love. I have learned patience through her teeth starting to come in and from restless nights of just wanting to latch constantly. We nurse to sleep and it’s our bonding time together. I have been humbled because I truly thought it would be easy, but in reality it is one of the hardest things I have EVER done. I have been blessed to be able to nurse her and I am truly hoping to be able to provide for another baby here in the next couple months.
